"Yves Saint Laurent" as known was one of the most popular and wearable brands. It was known world wide and was worn by everyone who had class and style!
Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent, known as Yves Saint Laurent; August 1, 1936 – June 1, 2008.
Till 2012 Pilati was the director of "Yves Saint Laurent" brand. Though in 2012 he left his YSL job and instead of him; Hedi Slimane joined it. But now it is already not "YVES Saint Laurent", but just Saint Laurent.
When they changed the name, meaning and the way you see this brand was left. Though much of it's style and clothes, shoes had changed...

as you can see the different between "Yves Saint Laurent" and just "Saint Laurent" is that "YSl" was more classic and colorful, gentle and pure.Though "Saint Laurent" is more rough and black, it has a bit style of rock and attitude.

as seen the difference between "YSL" and "Saint Laurent", tributes are removed and everything became more classic. Though tribute sandals are left...for now.

as seen some of the bag's style did change or removed. "YSL" had bags with a logo letter "Y" on them. In "Saint Laurent" it had been not removed completely, but made it rare now a days. Even if they have "Y" letter on the bags, they have "Saint Laurent" written in and out of the bag somewhere.
Even if much of the clothes, bags and shoes did change their style, accessories have not, but only was added more!
